Appliance Repair Warranty
Last updated: 01.06.2026
This Limited Warranty describes the warranty provided by Home Appliance Repair Technician (“we,” “us,” or “our”) on the appliance repair services we perform for our customers (“you”).
1. What This Warranty Covers
We warrant our repair work for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the repair is completed. This warranty applies to both:
• The labor we performed on the specific repair, and
• Any parts we supplied and installed as part of that repair.
If the same problem we repaired recurs during the warranty period due to a defect in the parts we installed or in our workmanship, we will re-perform the repair or replace the defective part at no additional charge for labor or that part.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• Any new or unrelated problem that is different from the original repair we performed.
• Parts supplied by you or by a third party that we did not source and install.
• Damage or failure caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, power surges, water damage, pest infestation, improper installation by others, or failure to follow manufacturer operating instructions.
• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or routine maintenance.
• Repairs or alterations to the appliance performed by anyone other than us after our service.
• Appliances that have been moved, modified, or relocated after our repair.
• Failures caused by a separate, underlying defect in the appliance that was disclosed to you or that we recommended addressing but you declined to repair.
• Commercial use of an appliance designed for residential use, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Manufacturer Warranties
Parts we install may carry a separate manufacturer’s warranty. Where a manufacturer’s parts warranty extends beyond our 90-day labor warranty, the manufacturer’s terms apply to that part for its stated period. We will assist you in identifying any applicable manufacturer warranty, but the manufacturer, not us, is responsible for honoring it. This Limited Warranty does not replace, limit, or extend any warranty provided directly by an appliance or parts manufacturer.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, contact us within the 90-day warranty period and before having any other party work on the appliance. You must provide:
• Your name and the service address where the original repair was performed,
• The date of the original repair and your invoice or receipt number, and
• A description of the recurring problem.
Warranty service is provided within our normal service area and during normal business hours. We must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the appliance and diagnose the issue before any other party performs work on it; otherwise, this warranty may be voided.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to the cost of re-performing the specific repair or replacing the specific defective part we installed. Home Appliance Repair Technician is not liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, property damage, loss of use, or lost income, arising from an appliance failure or from any repair we perform, except to the extent such limitation is prohibited by law.
6. Transferability
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original customer who paid for the repair and at the original service address. It is not transferable to subsequent owners or to a different location.
7. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Nothing in this warranty is intended to waive any rights you may have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer-protection law.
